What “perceived limitations” have held you back?

Do you have any current or past “perceived limitations” that have held you back? I know that I have ever since I was small and I was told that I wasn’t fast enough or smart enough it all went in my mind and stayed there and it limited in the things that I would try to do in life.  I would automatically think that I couldn’t do certain things without even trying them because of past mental programming.  How sad that because of these perceived limitations I gave up on myself…I never even tried to see if these limitations were true or not.  Here is a powerful video from Marc Accetta that shows you how these limitations are affecting your everyday life.

May All Beings Have A Wonderful Journey.

As I travel around the world and continue to not only work along side of Marc Accetta and Worldventures I also take in what is being taught and continue to grow as a person and to evolve my mind and thinkings.
This morning as I woke up in Phuket, after some much needed sleep, I looked over and saw this book on the night stand not thinking anything of it I opened it and started reading. And loved these thoughts and wanted to share them.

We are all brothers and sisters on an amazing Journey through a constantly changing universe. Sometimes we feel pain. Sometimes we are happy.

Our own effort and action are the engines of our development.

The laws of nature are rational and can be understood. All actions have reactions, and each of us is responsible for all we do.

Being born human is a fantastic opportunity because we have the enormous creative power of our intention and free will.

We are our own masters. We create our own fate, our own heaven and our own hell. We create by the use of our intention and free will.

Our human mind is always creating. Our mental environment is our own responsibility.

By practicing harmlessness, compassion and loving-kindness we cause no harm to ourselves or the world, this creating no new negative feedback.

By paying attention, staying mindful, and bravely examining ourselves and nature, we grow in wisdom. This wisdom will clean our world.

Ultimate freedom is a reachable world.

May we all meet again free from all suffering and laugh together at the past!

I hope you enjoyed it and may we all continue to grow mentally and spiritually! Have a great week!

Happy New Year VIDEO Message from Marc Accetta

How To Think Positive, Stay Focused, And Motivated!

Over the past couple of months, several people have come up to me and asked how are you doing it to stay in a great mood or how do you stay so positive despite, life’s challenges or whenever something negative happens to us that we cannot control.  I just tell them that I don’t let it soak into my mind or affect my daily life, yes life does throw it’s curve balls, just because I work with for a Life Success Coach like Marc Accetta.  It doesn’t give me a pass to not have anything bad happen to me.  While I am in Crete, Athens right now we just finished going through a section of our training seminar that focuses on people’s reactions.

One quote sums it up…“LIFE IS 10% WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU AND 90% HOW YOU RESPOND TO WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU…

Do you wish that you could stay focused, motivated and keep a positive attitude at all time?

You know, that feeling that you get and feel when have just come out of a great seminar, read a fantastic book, listened to a great audio piece from your favorite speaker or watched an inspiring movie like ROCKY, MIRACLE or RUDY. You feel like you can climb any mountain, swim any sea and be invincible. After a couple of days or even hours that feeling fades and eventually melts away until the reality of life gets in the way. That’s when you tell yourself to think positive despite the challenges that life sends you.

Here’s a couple of things that I do that will boost your positive attitude, give you laser beamed focus on what’s important and allow you to live a better stress-free life.   I use these steps in improving my mindset and again it didn’t happen overnight, I still get frustrated, upset and sometimes just have to be in a bad mood but following these steps have definitely helped with not worrying or stressing over life as much as I used to.  If you can’t or do not want to do all the steps, pick and choose what works bests for you.  Remember any progress is progress!

Step1: Go on a 30 day Mental Detox. Don’t WATCH TV for 30 days. News, Negative soaps, gossip shows , Reality TV, etc. Garbage IN Garbage OUT.  I love watching movies, comedies, inspiring movies, documentaries anything that isn’t JUNK!

Step2: Don’t listen to the radio unless you are listening to great songs with positive lyrics and no radio host with negative opinions. With the popularity of Apps and online radio, I’ve come across an awesome station that is both online, they have an app and they are on the radio in virtually all major cities.  That is KLOVE they value themselves with playing only Positive & Encouraging Music.  Check them out online http://www.klove.com/

Step3: Read 15 – 30 minutes everyday at the start of each day from a uplifting book to boost your positive attitude, no trashy novels, The Bible, Think and Grow Rich, How to Win Friends and Influence People, Unlimited Power etc.  I’ve also found apps on Itunes that have great daily motivational quotes and or daily bible verses to start your day off on a positive note.

Step4: Exercise MORE, park further away and walk around the block. Walk instead of driving everywhere; walk up the stairs instead of taking the lift or escalator, better still if you can, join a gym & even more important GO TO IT!!!

Step5: Disassociation: spend less time or limited time with negative people instead of 3 hours give them 20 minutes of your time. A friend of mine said it best, “Change the People Around You or Change the People Around You!”

Step6: Expanded association, get around positive people, surround yourself with people that uplift you and support you.  I’ve always hung around people that have great personalities are positive & we get along.  One quick thing I think about whenever I am going to associate with someone is to think, could I talk with this person everyday of my life.

Step7: Cut out the online media, newspaper, magazines or disempowering and limiting information or any type of media that does not enhance your life.

Step8: Drink lots of water. If you are dehydrated it allows the nutrients to get in and release the toxins.

Step9: BE GRATEFUL, Reflecting 5 – 10 minutes focusing on what you are grateful for first thing in the morning is an amazing exercise that I’ve been practicing for many years now and trust me we all have many things to be grateful for, if you have your goals read them so that you can focus on what you want to have happen, what you are grateful for.

I guarantee that if you practice some of these steps your life will definitely change and you’ll be thinking positively and staying focused on thinking positively next time that life throws you a curve ball.  Thank you for reading and please let me know if you have any steps that you do that I perhaps haven’t listed in order to enhance your life.

5 things you MUST be eating…

Over the past several months, I’ve been more and more conscious about what I put into my body and also working out and making sure I just follow simple rules that don’t make me feel like I am dieting or on some sort of fitness regiment.  One magazine that I read pretty religiously is Men’s Health, although I know that I am a long way from looking like any of the fit guys in the magazine it provides me with tons of great nutrition articles, as well as fitness exercises that break up the same ol same ol workouts at the gym.  Here’s one of the recent articles that I read on foods that you MUST be eating, I found it helpful and hope you do to. Also if you have any additional foods that have helped you lose weight or fight that hunger bug…please share!

Silence a growling stomach with these satisfying options, courtesy of Men’s Health nutrition advisor Jonny Bowden, Ph.D. Each offers a hunger-fighting dose of protein, along with fiber or fat, to help keep you full for hours after you’ve eaten.

And for more great ways to stay full and lose weight, pick up a copy of The Men’s Health Diet today! It combines the latest findings in exercise and nutrition with practical how-to-advice that will transform your body into a fat-burning machine.

Almonds

Along with 6 grams of protein, a handful (1 ounce) of almonds contains almost 9 grams of healthy monounsaturated fat.

Oatmeal

You can thank the 4 grams of fiber in a 1-cup serving for this breakfast staple’s stick-to-your-ribs quality.

Salmon

A 3.5-ounce serving contains 22 grams of protein and is a top source of omega-3 fats.

Quinoa cooks up like any grain, but it contains the same type of muscle-building protein found in eggs and meat. For 10 ways to prepare quinoa, go to menshealth.com/quinoa.

Black Beans

All legumes provide a ton of nutrients, but black beans lead the pack with equal amounts of protein and fiber—15 grams in a cup. They’re a great addition to almost any salad.

Also make sure and check out Men’s Health for your Ipad….super cool to be able to have several magazines when you’re traveling on your device and not have to carry them all around with you…

Less than 45 days away…..

Yep in less than 45 days we’ll be once again at our biggest training event of the year, A View from the EdgeMarc Accetta has taken this training to an entirely new level since I first started working with him on this event.  Never in a million years would I have imagined that he’d be flying through the air or we’d be blowing stuff up, bringing in live animals, making it snow on stage, fire, pyrotechnics and so many other great effects throughout the show.  This year we’ll be moving our show to Allen, TX.  Which is the perfect spot in my opinion not only for the show but also for the attendees in WorldVentures.  This new area in Allen is up and coming and is already considered one of the great spots for nightlife, food and entertainment throughout Collin County.  So it’s a perfect match for our yearly event.

The site we’ll be having our event will be at the Allen Event Center, which hosts a vast mixture of all kinds of entertainment from ice hockey games, concerts, gymnastics and now A View from the Edge.

We are already steadily planning for this years event in order to step it up a notch and make it bigger and better than last years event.   Check out some clips from last years, A View from the Edge.

There were so many great characters last year and believe it or not we’ve gotten request to do some of the characters but we still haven’t finalized our list yet.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU….

3 Day MBA for a weekend of education and entertainment!

We’ve just kicked off an amazing weekend in Las Vegas, NV with one of my good friends Gabe Shirey.  I met Gabe about 4 years ago at one of the week long training programs that Marc Accetta does called, Journey Beyond the Edge.  Gabe was an attendee at this seminar looking for an opportunity to just recreate himself and build a successful life.  Ever since then we’ve stayed friends and communicate via email, or online and here and there in person.  Recently I ran into Gabe in Los Angeles, CA at a Networking Seminar and WOW, has he recreated himself in a huge way.  For any of you that have attended Journey in the past, and know about the goal section.  Gabe still to this day has his very first goal cards that he created 4 years ago at Journey and carries them around with him and swears that he owes a lot of his recreation and success to Marc Accetta and that goal setting section during Journey.  It’s so awesome to see someone that has gone through one of Marc’s seminars and has been able to apply the skills and tools that Marc teaches and uses them to create massive success in their lives and now Gabe will turn around and give that back and create success in other lives out there.

Here’s a brief summary of Gabe’s company and what they are doing.  Make sure you stay in the loop and remember Gabe Shirey’s name he’s definitely on up and coming super star that has great things happening in life and business.

NBC pulls Tony Robbins reality show!

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – After two episodes, NBC is feeling motivated to yank Tony Robbins’ reality show from its summer schedule.

Effective next week, NBC will air repeats of game show “Minute to Win It” in the Tuesday-night slot instead of “Breakthrough with Tony Robbins.”

Tony Robbins

While critics gave Robbins’ show props for trying to help real people solve tough challenges, audiences didn’t show up; the most recent episode generating only 2.8 million viewers.

It’s not yet clear if the remaining four episodes will be available online.

JUST ANOTHER CLEAR INDICATION THAT ALL OF THESE BIG WIG TV STATIONS ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH VIEWERS AND NUMBERS AND MONEY INSTEAD OF ENHANCING PEOPLE’S LIVES!

A HUGE thumbs down to NBC and it’s execs for this decision!

What’s sad in all this is that even after going to NBC’s website I couldn’t find any of the episodes.  I found them on HULU.com. http://www.hulu.com/breakthrough-with-tony-robbins

Make sure you visit HULU and search Tony Robbins Breakthrough and watch this incredible show with REAL people, creating REAL changes in their lives.

‘Los Suns’ Cinco de Mayo protest a great idea!

he NBA’s Phoenix Suns, as sick to death of Arizona’s racist illegal immigration law as the rest of us are (and anyone can make a rigged poll), have elected to take matters into their own hands and where a special jersey for tonights NBA Playoff Game against The San Antonio Spurs on Cinco de Mayo.

The jersey reads ‘Los Suns’ and is an obvious hat-tip to the plight of Phoenix Latino Community, which has to suffer with being singled out as a whole for the actions of a few, not to mention America’s obvious love for Hot Irish Waitresses and Swedish Au-Pair Girls with expired VISAs.

Phoenix is a majority-minority city, with 41 percent of its population playing host to the same ethnic minority Arizona’s racist illegal immigration law was really designed to target. It’s not just a socially responsible act, but good business for the Phoenix Suns to take a stand against a racist law that hurts the people of its community.

Racist. A term that’s thrown around a lot, and because some people use it in a weird attempt to stop others from pointing out racism. For example, the idea that a person’s racist for recognizing a racist act or action. That’s purely stupid, but it’s the latest trick used by people who don’t want to be forced to be introspective and realize that, even if it wasn’t intentional, the act served to reject or cause a person to feel rejected because of the color of their skin, white, black or anything in between. That’s racist.

Arizona’ immigration law makes brown-skinned people feel rejected.

The Phoenix Suns are taking a grand stand to let Latino’s know that they’re not being rejected. Bravo. It’s a move that shows what private business can do to turn this country in the right direction.
