Less than 45 days away…..

Yep in less than 45 days we’ll be once again at our biggest training event of the year, A View from the EdgeMarc Accetta has taken this training to an entirely new level since I first started working with him on this event.  Never in a million years would I have imagined that he’d be flying through the air or we’d be blowing stuff up, bringing in live animals, making it snow on stage, fire, pyrotechnics and so many other great effects throughout the show.  This year we’ll be moving our show to Allen, TX.  Which is the perfect spot in my opinion not only for the show but also for the attendees in WorldVentures.  This new area in Allen is up and coming and is already considered one of the great spots for nightlife, food and entertainment throughout Collin County.  So it’s a perfect match for our yearly event.

The site we’ll be having our event will be at the Allen Event Center, which hosts a vast mixture of all kinds of entertainment from ice hockey games, concerts, gymnastics and now A View from the Edge.

We are already steadily planning for this years event in order to step it up a notch and make it bigger and better than last years event.   Check out some clips from last years, A View from the Edge.

There were so many great characters last year and believe it or not we’ve gotten request to do some of the characters but we still haven’t finalized our list yet.

Artie Lange Breaking News!

As many of you know one of my favorite comics out there is Artie Lange, his wild, foul mouthed, crazy humor is just crazy!  I just finished listening to his latest stand up CD entitled, Jack and Coke.  Very saddened by this latest blog entry I came across on The Post.

Troubled comic Artie Lange landed in the hospital after stabbing himself nine times in an apparent suicide attempt, sources told The Post. Lange’s frantic mom called 911 Saturday morning after she entered his Hoboken apartment and found the bloodied funnyman, a law-enforcement source said. Lange sustained six “hesitation wounds” and three deep plunges. A source close to Lange’s management team confirmed that the Howard Stern sidekick stabbed himself, adding that his mother had come to visit him that day to drop off food. Surgeons managed to save Lange despite heavy bleeding. “We all have our demons,” Stern said on-air this week, referring to Lange’s past battles with addiction. “Artie has given this show tremendous moments of great comedy. He’s a tremendous contributor. He is a good man. Don’t forget how great he is.”

I was lucky enough to attend a show that Lisa Lampanelli did here in Dallas, TX at the Addison Improv.  She is one of the most hilarious comics out there that leaves it all on the stage, After she’s finished you’ll really see how amazingly funny, smart and great she is.  I can’t wait till she comes back and goes back on tour in Texas.

For more information and additional airing times, please visit HBO’s site at: http://tinyurl.com/Lisa-HBO-Saturday

Funny or Die Blog: Palin Impression Time! Tina…

I for one am always looking for a good laugh and at the top of that list is Tina Fey. Congratulations to Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and the rest of the 30 Rock Cast for giving us a hilarious show and for winning in different categories at the Emmy’s. Here’s a look at Tina Fey in a recent SNL sketch….
